KTV with Star Boy Ed on 20 Oct 2008

Birthday boy Ed's favourite past time - singing. Naturally KTV does it. Took a few pics of him. Check them out. His theme for that night = NERDY CROWD LU GUANG ZHONG

Didnt take much photos that night cos wasnt in a very good mood to start with. Ordered fish porridge for dinner. Auntie came with 3 big bowls on a tray. She didnt place the tray properly on the table before letting go. In the end, half of the fish soup ended up on my bag and jacket. Lucky mine was a cheapo cotton bag.

Oops.. back to KTV. These are the photos I managed to take. There are others whom I didnt managed to get them in the pics - kirk & linda (paiseh ah).

Smiley Boys - Alan, Bingyu (good at retro moves), Ed & Gabby (with his ribbon).

Lovely couple KK & Xue Pei. Oh, not forgetting the drama mama Gabby.

Singing Sensation.. tada... Regina. Kirk will sit up each time our Regina holds the mike. He is trying hard to sign up Regina as his new artiste.

Shagged-looking Alan after singing numerous songs.

Batam Day Trip on 11 Oct 2008

Organised by Faizal, MD of PT Anggrek Tours and Travel 2008.
Ferry, meals and transport all catered for.

8 of us met at Harbourfront at 10.20am for checking in. As usual, we were late. Thanks to June and friends who helped to buy MacDonald breakfast for us.

Ferry to Batam Harbourbay.

First thing upon reaching Batam. We raided A&W. Coney dog, waffle ice cream, curly fries and most important of all, Root beer float. Yeah even shortly after our MacDonald breakfast.

Thereafter, we went to book our time slot for massage at:

On the way to our lunch, we took some pictures at the 4th bridge if I remembered correctly.

June, her girlfriends and Faizal way across the road posing for a pic.

Look at June, cant stop posing for pics... hahaha

Okay. Enough of picture taking. Time for Seafood Lunch @kelong. We were so excited, didnt take pictures of the food we ordered. Once food was served, we simply ATTACKED. There were black pepper crab, chilli crab, gonggong, prawns, steam fish, kangkong, coconut drink.

After lunch, long ride back to town for a 2 hour massage/scrub. Dinner was indonesian fare. Time to go home. Trip was kinda short and cramp. Should stay for at least one night if we are to go again.

Painted Skin - The Movie

"Adapted from Strange Tales of Liaozhai, this film is about a married man who falls for a beautiful woman who is actually a vixen spirit, and her appearance is the result of a piece of beautifully painted skin. Action/Horror" - taken from GV website.

Okay, now my review. I thought it was a horror film. Nahh.. Only one part which I thought was horrific, turns out to be a digitally done image. Disappointing.

Donnie Yen is and has always been a good fighter. The fighting scenes were filmed too close up, as a result, you cant really see the beauty of it.. wasted.

Zhou Xun bare it all in one scene. You can see her rear. Fair skin. Anyway, this is not important. Basically, this movie is a love story between a vixen spirit (Zhou Xun) and a married man (Chen Kun). Movie also show how much a wife (Zhao Wei) could sacrifice to keep her husband alive.

There are frequent light humour throughout the film. And I am real proud of Qi Yi Wu, who gets the opportunity to act among famous artiste like Joan Chen and now this movie. Jia You!!

Overall, movie is not bad. Worth it to watch on weekdays at $7.50.

P.S. - oh oh... check out the movie website http://huapi.ent.sina.com.cn/en/index.html. I think it's real real cool. Nice.

Yearbook Pictures by Jennifer

This post is specially created to showcase ah ma Jennifer's talent. And of course, to make you smile, better still a good laugh at how we could have looked in the early days Q_Q

One of her latest creation for RID Party. Cool. He won the best dressed too.

Eagle Eye - The Movie

This movie is about 2 hours. Though I stole 2 short winks during the show, it was not at all boring. It was my 2nd movie in a row.. cold & tired.

Fast paced and exciting. Plot revolves around 2 strangers who were forced to follow instructions from a "woman". They only have one choice, that is to comply. Otherwise, death befalls them and their loved ones.

This "woman" is incredible, she has the means to view and listen to everyone's movements and conversation to achieve her diabolical plot.

Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan will have to work together to outwit the "woman" before both gets killed.

Worth it to watch at the movies.

All The Boys Love Mandy Lane - The Movie

Mandy Lane, a blonde gal with great bod and untouched, is the unattainable object of adolescent lust. The revelation of the murderer was kinda expected. A little twist at the end of the show - another accomplice or should I say the mastermind.

The movie plot reminds me of The Frighteners. I would say.. I way prefer The Frighteners than All The Boys Love Mandy Lane.

Is it worth your money? Yeah only on DVDs.

My Best Friend's Girl - The Movie

Last friday was the lousiest day I ever had after so many years. Totally sucks. Hence I took half day leave. Wanted to donate blood and catch 2 movies thereafter. But what the heck, my iron count is still low. I always thought to myself, "never mind, do more than others, tough it out, tired also doesnt matter, I will get fruits of my labour some time later.." *shrug* I dont wanna write the other unhappy stuff here. Just wanna say: "Thanks Jair! You are the best fren one could ever ask for. Despite your projects & assignments, you still can spare time to talk to me. Really grateful."

Ok. After the unhappy stuff, I went for lunch at Sakae and stuff myself with lotsa chocolates ice cream & cocoa at Haagen Dazs @Century Square. Great service.

Thereafter, went for the movie My Best Friend's Girl.
Movie is so-so. Language revolves around, pussy, fuck, etc. Those who cant take such language, you better skip it. Oh ya, some nudity too. Focus on sex, DIY and of cos how one man who is a total asshole could find himself believing and falling in love, at the end of it. Story line quite predictable. Some hilarious moments:
1. Kate Hudson went out with this total asshole guy and was thinking if she should bang with him. A lady in the toilet cubicle overheard her and told her that the decision to bang does not depend on the heart or her fren but to listen to the voice in the clam burger. Get it?? haha

2. Dane Cook wore this t-shirt looking for Kate for a formal date. T-Shirt reads "My Cock + Your Pussy = Good Times" That's a cool T but I dun dare to walk around in it though.. LOL

There are many more movies I gonna catch. So look out for more reviews.

Rabbits New Home

After slightly more than 2.5years, my lovely rabbits got a new home on 27 September 2008. Purple in colour for both with a 2nd level wooden plank added to their playroom. Treating you both with equal fairness. So dont get jealous k my dear. Took a few pics of them in their new home.

Darling Kechil Posing infront of his new home...

Darling Gemuk Lying in Comfort & Trying out 2nd level of his new home...

I really love animals. They aint like humans. Humans have heart, brain, voice, sight, but they do not put them to good use. I'm not saying I am all that great & mightly. No one is, but learning to be the best you are is the way to go.

Anyway, rabbits cant talk. So, when I am with them, I have to put in extra heart and feelings to sense if they are sick or unwell, whether they feel bored, jealous (by throwing tantrums) or even simply just want me to give them attention and play with them.

There are instances where they may just pee on me when I cuddle them. Initially, I got angry and scolded them. But now, I realised, I shouldnt blame them cos they cant talk. I simply take it with a laugh and joke with them.

They will at times look at you with those loving eyes. Before I go off to work, dad will let them out for a few run around the house. They will circle around my leg, playing with me. Infront of strangers, when they get scared, they will jump to me for safety. That kind of feeling is really great. They dont just come to me when they needed help. Unlike humans, they treat you like non existent and only search for you when they need something or simply treat you like a reserve.
